Warehouse Lead
• Supervise warehouse safety, cleanliness, machine operations and inventory. Manage inventory including hardwood and softwood lumber; plywood; live edge slabs; butcher block countertops; decking; glued-up panels and more.
• Responsible for millwork operations (processing lumber) to meet customer-specific orders and fulfill multiple close deadlines. Oversee daily use of industrial machines including Delta 20" Planer; Powermatic 12" Rip Saw; Delta 16" Radial Arm Saw; and H5 64" Panel Saw.
• Coordinate inventory receiving and distribution between branches twice a week. Oversee crew of people to carry out safe hand unloading and forklift organization procedures. Execute administrative duties to update multiple software systems synchronizing with inventory transfers.
• Supervise shipping and receiving 53’ trailers for freight lines including Dayton Freight, Estes Express, FedEx Freight & Ground, Moran, Old Dominion, SAIA LTL Freight, XPO Logistics and Yellow/YRC Freight.
• Coordinate sales of lumber, plywood, millwork operations, machines, power tools and other retail.
• Graphic design of stationary, signage, and flyers for South Bend, IN branch. Design promotional content using free software for print distribution.
